A freelance artist, I paint for exhibition, tutor art and  accept commissions, mainly animal portraits. My most unusual animal requested was a Dodo for which I sketched the model at Horniman Museum and painted a family of Dodo’s. My most challenging commissions were a portrait of a Harley Davidson motorbike and a landscape with a tractor and herd of cows where the branded number on the rump of one cow was clearly visible. I am also very pleased to have added MURALS to my list of services offered.

Whilst constantly trying new media, techniques, subjects and styles, a dominant theme in my work is the invisible. A trail left in the air by something moving, a historic trace, an intended path, air currents, water flow, magnetic fields, emotional atmosphere and pressure.
