The rambling, rural gardens of Pickhams will be transformed with art installations and a sculpture trail by Anna and Tom Acciarini for the 2016 Pickhams Arts Week. Indoors there will be art on show by Josie Tipler, embroideries by Jill Church, refreshments, cakes and a Book Sale.
Wander through a Fairy Glen, see if you can spot the monsters in the ‘lake’, creep up to the nest of the Phoenix, watch out for the night sky ‘wolves’, peek into the Secret Story Garden and find the Magpie’s treasure..
Come along and be inspired to write poetry, a short story or to create a short film…just for the fun of it, but you can also enter any of these into the free competitions for the Hailsham Festival of Arts & Culture! You can also get artily creative at several events in the week:
